. . . . . Emotions

There is nothing "wrong" today, and yet I cannot stop the tears. My body feels exhausted from a busy weekend and my mind is tired from trying to prepare for my upcoming surgery. I have spent the morning on the phone with the insurance company and with various family members and friends, trying to figure out how to make everything work.

I still have to book airline tickets, a rental car and make all the arrangements, but today, all I want to do is cuddle up in my bed, have a good cry and read a book.

The current plan is to fly to CA the first week in August, with the actual procedure taking place on Wednesday, and the post-ops on Thursday and Friday. So, I have 2 weeks to get ready, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Please, I know I have asked a million times before, but a few prayers would be great. Thanks. Love you all.

We're here! Yell if you need help! Besides playing with your cat! Seriously... we are more then happy to help out. Big breath...and keep the faith. It will work out. Remember you won't have to handle anything you can't carry. So obviously Someone has a lot more faith in you then you do...? Come on Jodi... chin up. Relax. And carry on! You so can do it. And you have a lot of back up. Love you lady.

Hey, I say you go ahead and take that break you obviously need. There's nothing wrong with curling up in bed with a good book. It would probably be a great distraction. Your other responsibilities will still be there when you're more rested, and you'll probably be better able to deal with it all.

Good luck. Prayers and hugs.

Sorry about the troublesome emotions, I say let them flow, it's always easier to deal with things after a good cry:) Good luck with the surgery and all, you will be in our prayers!
