. . . . . . .Transformation: Switch it Out, Paint it Up

I just finished up another fun project! I have a print of my favorite painting, "Reflections" by Carol Harding. It is large and expensive to frame (almost $300) so I have never had it done. I finally did the project myself and took another framed piece of artwork (that I purchased from Ross for a mere $39!) and transformed it into a frame for my print!

I sanded and stained the frame, then took it to Joann's to be matted. The results are in, and it looks great! The photos don't do it justice!

Take a look:

Before: The picture I purchased from Ross.
After: My favorite print, in a beautiful frame with lovely mats!

One more reason I love transformation projects!

The 25k visits contest will go til at least Monday, so if you haven't entered yet, make sure to leave a comment on any one of the posts from this week!

Beautiful! What's the name of it and you did it? I really like it!

Sorry... that should say "who did it" not "you did it"

Beautiful! And Jodi, you are beautiful! Come to think of it, aren't we all beautiful because we are all creations of a Heavenly Father Who loves us! And, aren't we all in a process of transformation as we try to become more like Him? Life is WONDERFUL! Life is BEAUTIFUL, even though "transforming" can sometimes be very difficult and painful! We are so grateful for the blessings of your "transformation" this past year! "You go girl," as we continue to pray for you, Tolan, and your sweet family!!!

With much Aloha,
Diane and Heber Lloyd
