Encouraging Progress

Jodi has not leaked CSF since Sunday afternoon and the lumbar drain has been closed since Monday morning so that is encouraging. We’ve postponed surgery and if she can make it through today the doctors may release her from the hospital as early as Wednesday. This morning she had a hearing test and those results were also encouraging – there is definitely hearing loss in the right ear but it has improved and there is hope that it will continue to improve. She is still running a fever (about 101 degrees) and we don’t know why but other than that she is doing very well.

Didn't Almighty God Himself release an army of pray-ers for you, a family dedicated to you, friends and people you've never met pulling for you.

I know why He got me involved through your great dad--I needed to see a miracle. I'm just sorry you had to be the subject of that miracle.

Giddy up! You go Jodi. Was it watching the movie Paul Blart that turned things around. If so, I can bring by Hitch if you like.

Jodi-

I am so glad to hear things are going well for you. I was in Wyoming for a long holiday weekend- disconnected from the world, and thought of you every day, wondering how you were doing. It looks like things have turned for the better and I can't wait to hear news that you are recovering at home with your family.

Jodi, I read about you on my dad's email/blog, "The Fishin' Hole." I admire your courage and your beauty, and I add my prayers in your behalf to everyone else's. I hope to see continued improvement, and you will see my comments often (I talk too much, anyway :) ). Best wishes and much love! Aundrea Hill
