Hospital Stay - Day 11 - Doctors' Plans

The doctors said during their early morning rounds that they would close off Jodi's lumbar drain again sometime today (we don't know what time yet) to see if the spinal fluid leaking has finally stopped completely. They also said they would take out her incision staples today. That ought to be interesting, hopefully not painful.

She's very much looking forward to seeing her kids today. It was last Saturday when she saw them last and she is missing them a lot.

She really appreciated again yesterday the comments on the blog, the calls, and a few visits.

Hi Jodi, Bro. & Sis. Orgill
Saras said she wrote a comment for Jodi yesterday. Somehow it didn't show up in the blog. So, I am writing one for her. Saras and her sisters are at the Salt Lake temple right now. She has Jodi name with her for temple prayer. It seems like Jodi has making a lot of progress. We will continue pray for you, Jodi.

Love,
Sanya & Saras

Hi Jodi,(& Von)
I'm so glad to hear of the progress you are making. You are still in our prayers and even our 10 year old daughter who has never met you or your family says, "Don't forget to pray for Jodi Brown" every time we kneel for family prayers. Your story touches every parent and child and you are inspiring us all by your strength!!!

Dear Jodi.
I am so happy to hear that you are doing better. I just got back from the Salt Lake Temple with my sisters. One of my sisters just got her recommend. She is visiting from North Carolina. We put your name in the temple prayer roll. I wish you a speedy recovery. I saw your mom and dad whenever they came down to Orem. When we talked to them we recognized that if possible they would rather go through what you are going through themselves. You have such a wonderful family and lots of support. I pray that the Angel of Star Bright reflecting the light of hope and a very speedy recovery upon you.
Love always,
Saras

Glad to hear that things are progressing. I've been tuning in each day to watch Jodi's progress. Like I said earlier, it comes slow at times, slower than we all want. But it still comes, and I'm glad to hear that she's finally turned the corner. Keep thinking positively!

Dear jodi, glad to hear that you are doing better. I'm so happy you'll be able to see your kids today.
Thought you might like to know what's going on in the ward, wednesday night we had a combind activity where we split up into 5 groups with different instrustions to get to the same point and ended up at sister Hall's house where Bishop Aurich had a great message. Last night we went on the priesthood comemeration overnighter, we missed Tolan and Trendon, we had a great turn out. Went through 80 hot dogs and a ton of pancakes. We also had good messages from the bishopric.
Are thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, can't wait to see you again. You are such an inspiration to everyone and have changed many lives. May God bless you.

Love, Randy
