Feeling Better

Jodi continues to feel better and her fever is down. Also, she still has not had any CSF leaks since Sunday afternoon. The doctors plan to remove the lumbar drain later today and see how she does. We’re hopeful she may be able to come home as soon as tonight or else tomorrow if she continues to do well through the rest of the day. We’re keeping our fingers crossed.

Whoo hoo!! Doing the "happy dance". We are keeping our fingers crossed for you. This is totally off subject, but the side ponytail in your earler pics made me smile. I know you're wearing it to be comfortable while lying in bed, but I seriously used to wear them all the time... Can't remember if it was in the seventies or eightes??? You look cuter with it than I ever did. xoxo

Jodi, won't it be fabulous to no longer be described by your leakage? :) Three cheers for you!

Yea! Exciting news! We will keep everything crossed and will anxiously await to hear when you get to leave and get home to your family. I know they will be just as excited as you are. Prayers will be continuing in your behalf long after you get home.
Love you!

Can't wait to see you. I have a good feeling it will be soon. We can sit in the backyard with the kids and soak up the sun! Annette

YAY! They should make Jodi sign a 'contract' before they release her, saying that she will try to take it easy when she gets home. LOL! As a fellow mother, I know it'll be tempting for her to get right back into the 'routine'! ;) But what a relief to be able to get out of the hospital! I hope it continues to go well! Take care Jodi!! XOXO, Karen
