Jodi Gets to Go Home on Monday

Jodi's progress has been so significant the last few days, especially today, that all of the doctors agree she can go home tomorrow. The plan is for her to be released from the hospital sometime around mid-day. Jodi and Tolan are looking forward to a real "homecoming."

Jodi asked me to share with you the following, "Thank you so much for your amazing support and for your prayers and fasting over such a long period. I can't begin to tell you how much you mean to me and my family. I would be so grateful if you could please continue your prayers tonight so I can finally go home tomorrow! Even though I am getting out of the hospital, I know there is still a long recovery ahead, but with all your support, I know I can make it and I know my family will be okay too. I look forward, over the next few weeks and months, to expressing my personal appreciation to each of you! I love you all!"

We will continue to keep the blog updated for the rest of Jodi's journey. Thanks again to each of you!

Jodi, I can't go to bed each night until I read your blog and remember you in my prayers. This has been a huge trial that you have had to face. It is obvious that you are a very special person because the trials you have endured have been given you as evidence of your Heavenly Father's love. Trials are given as blessings to His children. They are given as opportunities for growth. This trial has not only given you an opportunity for growth, but also the many, many people that have been helping you through this. You are a wonderful person and I feel very blessed to know you. May the Lord bless you to continue in your recovery. Love, Evalyn

Hi Jodi & family,

Woo-Hoo!!! This wonderful good news brings tears of joy to my eyes. I am sooo happpy you finally get to go home and be with your family. There is no better place than home. We had our family prayer tonight, and included you to be able to go home soon. After reading the updates on the blog, We've double crossed our fingers and toes, too!

Jodi, you are a courageous and wonderful person. This has been a huge trial you have had to face in your life. To see all the many people praying for you and sending encouraging and uplifting words of comfort and love goes to say you are loved and cared about daily. Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ do love you and know you personally. They are with you every minute of the day. Your unwavering faith through all this has been incredible not only to you and your family, but to all of us, too. We hope you have a good night rest before going home on Monday, and perhaps to Hawaii real soon???

Lots of hugs and love,

Carolyn, David, Andrew, Chelsea, & Savannah

Lots of hugs and love,

Carolyn & family

Yea! I know this has been a long struggle. Your strength is amazing. I have been looking through the other posts and I am so proud of the old McKay-Dee Foundation team for being such a great support to you. It has been good to keep us together for one common cause for good, getting you home and healed! I am hoping that the next post will be from your home computer. When you get feeling better, we will have to have a old team lunch! Love, Joey
